The Death of Kingsman Movie Showtimes

I won't spoil the plot for the few who haven't seen it yet (it's on Netflix now, watch it before it goes away), but this film's brilliant animation is a major factor in why it shot to the top of our list. Watch these films before 2018 ends. Harry Hart: I always felt that the old Bond films were as good as the villain. There are a lot of good reasons why a person would become a coroner or medical examiner, and pay is among them. Horror director Sam Raimi infused the film with a lot of the same over-the-top energy as his Evil Dead films; your mileage may vary on that. The Amazing Spider-Man was set to succeed with a beloved superhero, a promising young director and an all-star supporting cast. There are also scenes of young Conrad (Harris Dickinson) knife training with Shola (Djimon Hounsou), before the Duke takes Conrad to the Kingsman tailor shop, saying he needs a new suit. There are also scenes of Shola training Conrad in hand-to-hand combat, with the Duke himself getting in on the action.

Kingsman: The Secret Service tells the story of a super-secret spy organization that recruits an unrefined but promising street kid into the agency's ultra-competitive training program just as a global threat emerges from a twisted tech genius. Since the 2015 release of Kingsman: The Secret Service, Vaughn’s action-comedy series has seen Gary “Eggsy” Unwin (Taron Egerton) go from a street kid without much promise to one of the world’s best spies. In a truly outrageous reveal, this man introduces himself as Adolf Hitler, hinting that any follow-up to this prequel take on The Kingsman series would focus on this shadow network as they create the events that lead to World War II. It was mentioned in Kingsman: The Golden Circle that Winston Churchill was also a founding member, but The King’s Man doesn’t reveal what his code name was. But for years, Harry Hart-code name Galahad-has worn his Kingsman cloth with unflappable aplomb, spoiling nefarious plots, saving world leaders and essentially making the world a safer, better-groomed place. One particular scene that made a mark is at the dentist’s office where it is featured as a seemingly horrifying place to-be-at for anyone, especially for Nemo who finds himself stuck in a dentist’s office aquarium.

Eight years later, I still wish I could erase the skateboarding scene set to a moody Coldplay song from my memory. That pep talk, and a walk through a weapon’s gallery decorated with lethal ware like a sweet shop gleaming with iced treats set up Eggsy for “the most dangerous job interview in the world.” And he has to convince the agency's head, Arthur, played by Michael Caine, that he is up to snuff. Unlike the Oxford educated spies working for Her Majesty’s Secret Service, these Oxford-educated spies actually work for themselves, remnants of an exclusive tailor shop that catered to England’s best and brightest. The two-time Oscar nominated actor plays the role of Orlando the Duke of Oxford. The Duke explains that while governments, 'wait for orders, our people take action' as he's seen engaged in a fight. The mystery unseen villain tells his cohorts that, 'it's time to pour fuel on the fire of revolution, while the Duke meets the nefarious Rasputin (Rhys Ifans). Spider-Man 2 doesn't simply put Peter Parker through the same character arc as the first film, but with a different villain. Spider-Man: Far From Home is bigger and more ambitious than its predecessor, but it never loses sight of the quirky high school mishaps that make Tom Holland's Peter Parker so compelling.

After Sam Raimi's Spider-Man helped kickstart the modern superhero film craze in 2002, the franchise went on to spawn three different live-action takes on ol' webhead, including the moodier Andrew Garfield movies of the early 2010s as well as the modern Marvel Cinematic Universe adventures of Tom Holland. After debuting in Captain America: Civil War, Tom Holland's Spider-Man was given a delightful first solo outing that skips the origin story and melodrama in favor of a charming teen comedy about Peter learning how to be a superhero while navigating his sophomore year of high school. Some fans think the emotional melodrama is true to the original Stan Lee comics; others think it's a bit too much. The sequel to Homecoming is much more of a true MCU affair, seeing Peter deal with the heartbreaking fallout of Avengers: Endgame while battling mysterious new elemental threats with the help of Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders) and Quentin Beck (a scene-stealing Jake Gyllenhaal). Homecoming keeps things small-scale to great effect, focusing on the dynamics between Peter and his high school friends (including Jacob Batalon's hilariously nerdy Ned, and Zendaya's steely, sarcastic MJ), and showing Peter fail multiple times as Spider-Man while learning from his mentor Tony Stark (a just-there-enough Robert Downey Jr.).
