Lord Oxford (Ralph Fiennes) fights a diabolical conspiracy during World War I in The King's Man. A new face is Ralph Fiennes who plays the Duke of Oxford in the adventure, based on the comics created by Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons. While the original movie, Kingsman: The Secret Service, suggested the majority of founders would be powerful individuals who lost their heirs, it seems Orlando Oxford is the only main founder who was afflicted with this fate. One of the first lessons that Harry teaches Eggsy in Kingsman: The Secret Service is that Kingsman agents wear “Oxfords, not brogues.” While this is meant to signify the type of formal gentleman’s shoes that are part of Kingsman spies’ attire, it comes directly from a quote by founding member Orlando Oxford. The film is a prequel to 201'4s Kingsman: The Secret Service and 2017's Kingsman: The Golden Circle.
Yes, we see more about Hawkeye's personal side here, but to me, that only feels fair since he's not big enough to carry his own film. I was on the fence about Stewart in the picture but i had faith in Jesse to carry the chemistry the two hand in Adventureland. I came in loving Jesse Eisenberg with his movies like, Adventureland, The Social Network,and Zombieland. I purposefully avoid hyping myself for movies because when expectations are too high, nothing seems to be able to reach them. That is great because so many of these characters are larger than life. The camera work was great and incorporated some of the best and most believable action scenes I have experienced. There’s also, it should be said, a well-crafted bird’s-eye-view tableau sequence showing how the countryside of France morphed into the battlefields of the Great War. Set in the early 20th century, "The King's Man" tells the story of how the independent intelligence Kingsman agency is created to defeat a war plot. The new entry in the series is the first not to be set in the modern-day - with the action instead unfolding more than a century ago, primarily against the backdrop of the First World War.
The second film in the series is a direct follow-up to the first, with Eggsy now having been given the codename Galahad. I'm not a comic book expert, but have been a big fan of the Marvel Universe on film since Iron Man 1. I found the writing in AoU to be sharp and witty. Look, we've had 3 Iron Mans, 2 Captain Americas, 2 Thors, and a Hulk movie to develop the characters. True deep performances. Look, I was missing Ed Norton as much as anyone on that hype train I talked about but I'm so happy to say that Mark Ruffalo won me over. “I’m really not allowed to say anything, but there is a script,” Egerton said previously. The character arcs that run there course during this film will surprise a lot of general audiences expecting nothing more than a Transformers type popcorn scarfdown. I thought her Widow character was amazing but I'm definitely judging that through rose colored glasses. We see and learn more about Black Widow in this one, as well.

It's not a two dimensional "team wonderful that bands together to fight crime ho ho ho." Most don't like each other at fist and there is so much texture to be played.
